Dawno nie informowaliśmy o programie autorstwa TeBe/MadTeam, który - nie bójmy się tego określenia - zrewolucjonizował tworzenie grafik na ośmiobitowych komputerach Atari. Dziś jest ku temu okazja, ponieważ ukazała się jego kolejna wersja. Zmian nie jest dużo:

• dodana obsługa trybu PGR+ (Piccolo)

Piccolo wyewoluował z "color clash fixera" w program służący do skompilowanego kolorowania grafik. Więcej o nim możecie przeczytać na forum AtariAge, a nowego Graph2Fonta pobierzecie z jego strony domowej.

• Standard plugin: The TSCBL and LBE loaders have an option to suppress the ATRACT mode. This was implemented because of an enhancement request.

• GENCAS tool, the powerful successor of the XEX2CAS utility can output WAVE files. The new -o option was introduced to control the output file format. The default output format is tape image to preserve backwards compatibility.
• The Pilot tone test UI was streamlined
• When certain Look and Feels were selected, the toolbars became floatable. Now the toolbars are always non-floatable.

VinsCool udostępnił binaria kolejnej nieoficjalnej wersji Raster Music Trackera z mnóstwem poprawek własnego autorstwa oraz szeroką listą nowości. Poza tym udostępniono demo, które wskazuje, że jest możliwe granie 16x na ramkę - i to na NTSC!

• Added a new tracker.obx function, where the driver version is written in plaintext, and then displayed in the About dialog. This is purely cosmetic, otherwise, there is no difference.
• Make the XEX export format have the colour shuffling optional.
• Also make sure the SAP exports skip the colour shuffling instructions, since both export formats use the same player binaries.
• Added an option for XEX exports to enable or disable the automatic region detection, in case a particular setup may work incorrectly with it.
• Fixed a bug related to scaling, causing the output to have choppy appearance due to incorrectly having set the boundaries of the display to draw every frame. Now it's a smooth display!
• Improved the PAL/NTSC detection code in the exports player (thanks pps for the sample code I used as a reference!).
• Updated all binaries with the last 6502 ASM changes, the old export binaries will no longer be compatible due to several memory address changes!
