Does exist a XEX2WAV convertor which does not produce the standard (600bd) record like CAS2WAV, but KSO Turbo record ?
Does exist a demand for such program ?

Why I asked these questions ?
I wrote such program which generates Czechoslovak turbo formats, and I am planning to write more plugins for it. One of them can
be KSO TURBO.

For me it would be nice to have such a program. Is there possible to download your tool and test it?
As far as I know there is no KSO Turbo equivalent of XEX2WAV.

You can test it and see how it looks but beware:
My program RECENTLY DOES NOT SUPPORT ANY POLISH TURBO, but only Turbo from former Czechoslovakia. (But as I wrote i am PLANNING
support for KSO TURBO)

You can download the tool from
http://baktra.wz.cz/software/turgen/download.html
file ts6.zip. It requieres Java Runtime Environment 1.4.2 to RUN and also WINDOWS,LINUX OR SOLARIS  User interface is in english, but documentation is still only in czech.

Take into account I'll need a "little" help:
- at least sampled record with KSO TURBO (as WAV)
- a bit of documentation (how does the format look, header, checksums etc.)
- somebody who will do the tests (of course I don't have XC-12 with KSO turbo extension board)

Yes, this sounds complicated.

You can contact me also here: zylon@post.cz (i am not permanently on-line)

I think I still have one Turbo 2000 tape at home and I can try sampling it if it helps...
As far as I remember the recording structure was quite straightforward: a header and several blocks (3072 bytes long?) terminated by checksums.
To get exact timings it would be necessary to analyse the recording.
You can also have a look here: http://cas-archive.pigwa.net/dow/atari_t2000.zip - this is a program which converts Turbo 2000 recordings into binary file. It might be useful for testing.

Check your email - I sent you two programs.

I've received the e-mail and  also downloaded the program from pigwa. I will start the job. Thank you.

I've finished the first version of the plugin. Check your e-mail and see the attachment ts6kso.zip.<br>
I have also published the first version temporarily here:

http://baktra.wz.cz/ts6kso.zip

The Henryk Cygert's program succesfully decodes the generated signal. Please test it with real Atari

Any other volunteers can test it with real hardware too. Unpack the archive and see ksoturbo.pdf for instructions.
Thanks in advance for testing.

New version of the utility can be found here (still not tested with real hardware):
http://baktra.wz.cz/english/turgen.html
Some instructions in english are included too. It's possible to alter pulse lengths easily if necessary.
The pulses are now clean and strictly rectangular
