hey,
is somebody of you guys thinking about visiting the "Riverwash" demoparty in Gliwice? It is in south poland near the czech border.
though being not a real oldskool demoparty, it should be worth to go there with atari equipment. on their competition sites they are even mentioning the XL/XE as a platform :)
there are some okay-ish plane connections between Munich and Katowice - Pyrzowice airport. so for me it should be somehow doable to get there :))
