Wow, so the real KMK is here? Great work! Happy new year!

I just got a KMK/JZ IDE interface and I'm wondering if anyone has made progress on two issues:

1. Any DOS which supports D10-D16

2. Any 'image manager' software which lets you manage and play a large number of full disk (DCM/ATR) based games from your HD

??

Thanks!

.... 1. - mount D10-D16 -> D1:

soft;

mnt.com, fdisk.com :D

There is no DOS supporting D10-D16 but as Pin says there is support for mounting every partition as D1:.

The DOS is probably coming but nobody knows when it'll have come. ;)

OK ... thanks. My dream is to be able to store many ATR/DCM full disk games in a large partition, and then decompress them to smaller partitions and play them, without having to execute several commands each time.

It's been a long time since I wrote any software for the Atari (15 years) so I need to get back into the mindset.

Is there source code for KMK/JZ FDISK and Disk Commander available? I'm thinking an image manager would need to include elements of both FDISK and Disk Commander, with its own UI wrapping.

Unless I can do everything in a SpartaDos batch file? I'm an old MYDOS user - don't know too much about SpartaDOS - so if you think that's a good idea, please tell me.

Obviously, anything I do will be posted for all to enjoy.

It is possible with KMK/JZ IDE even now. But many games or demos are in SD/ED, so they might be problems to run them from HDD since HDD has 256B per sector. Of course DD disks run perfectly if their loaders use standard SIO or support new devices. Then one problem is remaining, how to flip disk if a game/demo is "two-sided". :lol:

No, sources for FDISK 1.40 are lost.
