Compo na ZX Spectrum Evolution, ale format jest dostępny z PC - BMP, 320x200, 16 kolorów z palety 64 kolory (plik z paletą i przykładowymi obrazkami dostępny tutaj: http://yerzmyey.republika.pl/gfxcompo2014ivp.rar).

While this year edition of International Vodka Party we would like to organize a graphic compo especially for ZX Spectrum Evolution (320x200 in 16 colours out of 64-colours palette, each pixel can have its own colour).

You don't have to be an owner of the machine (nor the compatible - ATM Spectrum model), the format is simple: ***BMP*** file, 320x200 resolution, 16 colours on the screen (out of the 64-colours palette of ZX Spectrum Evolution).
You can recognize easily that the final file format is OK: the BMP file will be exactly 32118 bytes long.

This gfx-mode is available for Spectrum world since 1991, but it wasn't used very often. Which now changes 'cause Eva is the only reasonable choice if one wanna get a new ZX model.

2 pictures per author allowed.
Unlike the converts – converted pictures are NOT allowed at all.

We provide You a "zx_eva_palette.pal" file that You can load into Your favourite PC (and Mac possibly) gfx-editor and draw the compo picture(s).
Example of loading the palette file into PaintShop:
COLORS / LOAD PALETTE and... yes, "OPEN" file. ;) Still, You can use only 16 colours out of those 64 ones.

Note 2: We consider also making an on-line voting for everybody, after the party.
Note 3: You can send as well the TRD/SCL 256x192 RGB format pictures (called also "8color" or 3"color" sometimes) but remember You can use there only 8 colours of standard ZX Spectrum palette, and such pictures will compete with Eva's pictures, so it might not be a "fair fight" (although the RGB gfx-mode is stable on ZX Evolution - it doesn't blink).

Skąd taki format obrazków, na jakim sprzęcie to ma niby chodzić?

mogłem dowalić pełne możliwości tego modelu :) zbliżone bardziej do Atari XL VBXE ("256 colors per dot, each color its own from palette 15625 colors, resolution is 360×288 pixels), ale chcę "dozować" napięcie, hahaha, więc może to zrobię następnym razem. :)

Ja bym chętnie przytulił taki, tylko nie wiem skąd, za ile i dlaczego tak drogo... Który z nowych spectrumów jest teraz najbardziej godny uwagi - w sensie najczęściej się na niego soft tworzy?

Ten. Ale właśnie wczoraj przestali go produkować. Po pięciu chyba latach.
Więc pod linkiem, który sam podałeś - możesz skontaktować się, czy jeszcze coś im zostało, co chcieliby wyprzedać.
Jeśli nie - to kiszka. Czy wznowią jeszcze produkcję? Nie wiadomo - wygląda, że chyba nie.

Napisałem. Teoretycznie... Jest schemat... Jest płyta... Instrukcja montażu, soft, wsady do ROMów. Ktoś mógłby to zrobić, jakby mu się chciało. Trzeba by tylko zebrać pewną liczbę chętnych na produkcję płyty, bo tego to się żelazkiem raczej nie zrobi :)

I ostatnia partia płyt została sprzedana. Udostępniają jednak wszystko co potrzebne do produkcji - w zasadzie jest wszystko na tej stronie - i deklarują pomoc/doradztwo, również w ew. kontakcie z Chińczykami u których to tłukli.

Nawracając do compo.

Gdyby ktoś jednak wolał coś bardziej klasycznego, to można wysyłać obrazki w trybie RGB, bo chociaż działają na każdym Spectrum 128 (najlepiej na klasycznym Pentagonie), to jednak na Evie idą statycznie, bez mrugania. Więc łaj not.

Also, if You guyz prefer the RGB mode (standard Speccy 256x192 resolution, one standard ZX palette too - which is 8 colours - every pixel has its own colour), You can use to draw:
- 8 color (3color) Editor 0.12 for standard Pentagon 128 (also on emulators). Here the pictures blink.
- 8 color (3color) Editor 0.13 for ZX Evolution (and supposedly for ATM and Pentagon SL Specrums). Here the pictures will not blink - they will be stable.

Draw with QAOP/SPACE or Kempston Mouse.

L - load file
S - save file (save as *.8 !!!)

While edition only part of the screen is visible, and the scrolling is automatic (just move the pointing-cursor to borders).
(You can scroll the screen with arrow-keys/cursors too).

To test the fullscreen, press SHIFT+1 ("EDIT" key).

To return to the editing mode, press SHIFT+SPACE ("BREAK").


I'm not any real graphic artist, so it's just a stupid example from me, made in 2008 ("The Wizard", hahaha).
