Hej!

1. Instalacja glownych potrzebych pakietow do kompilacji pod Debianem

# apt-get install build-essential

2. Instalacja libsndfile

# apt-get install libsndfile1-*

3. Kompilcaja/Instalacja liba8cas-1.4.0

#./configure
# make all
#make install

4. Kompilcaja/Instalacja a8cas-tools-1.3.1

#./configure
# make all
#make install

seban: libsndfile instaluj z uzyciem: apt-get install libsndfile1-dev (dociagnie co trzeba w zaleznosciach)
mam wrazenie ze zajrzales do pliku INSTALL i zasugerowales sie tam opisanym uzyciem autoreconf -i, a zrobiles to ZANIM zinstalowales liba8cas, przez co nie bylo odpowiednich makr zainstalowanych.

autoreconf -i uzywasz do kompilacji wersji z gita, gdy w paczce brakuje pliku configure (ktory przegenerowales)
rozpakuj archiwum ponownie, nadpisujac ów configure - uruchom konfiguracje na nowo i... powinno byc ok.

Hej!

# cat /etc/ld.so.conf.d/libc.conf
# libc default configuration
/usr/local/lib

# ls -l /usr/local/lib/liba8cas*

uruchom ldconfig
i w razie czego przeloguj sie

Hmm.. Teraz poszło bez problemu ... i co dziwne nie potrafię odtworzyć przebiegu poprzedniej instalacji zakończonej niepowodzeniem.

edit:
Już wiem. Powtórzyłem całą operację która zakończyła się niepowodzeniem.

Skrypt instalacyjny liba8cas-1.4.0 nie uaktualnia pliku /etc/ld.so.cache

Trzeba to zrobić ręcznie po instalacji odpalając ldconf.
Jest to nawet opisane w pliku INSTALL:

2. To make the installed library available to programs intending to use it,
typically some additional actions are needed, like:
- running ldconfig, or
- adding LIBDIR to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable during program
  execution, or
- adding LIBDIR to the LD_RUN_PATH environment variable during program linking.
Also, make sure that the a8cas.m4 file installed with the library is
accessible for Automake (see "dirlist" at
http://www.gnu.org/s/hello/manual/autom … -Path.html ).

Rozwiąże to problem.

Hej!

Panowie chciałem serdecznie wam podziękować! :) Wszystko już działa. Dzięki raz jeszcze.

@jell: oczywiście iż robiłem make install :) spec od Linux ze mnie żaden, ale z tym jeszcze sobie radzę :) tzn. pamiętałem o make install :)

Mój problem rozwiązało polecenie ldconfig :) przelogowanie ani reboot maszyny nie pomagał. dopiero wydanie polecenia 'ldconfig' rozwiązało problem, po nim 'configure' poszło bez problemów. następnie make all i make install również.

M1:

autoreconf -i zwraca:

configure.ac:23: warning: macro 'AM_PATH_A8CAS' not found in library
configure.ac:17: warning: The macro `AC_HEADER_STDC' is obsolete.
configure.ac:17: You should run autoupdate.
./lib/autoconf/headers.m4:704: AC_HEADER_STDC is expanded from...
configure.ac:17: the top level
configure.ac:23: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PATH_A8CAS
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
autoreconf: error: /opt/homebrew/Cellar/autoconf/2.71/bin/autoconf failed with exit status: 1

powtórne uruchomienie generuje resztę plików ale zwraca nadal:

configure.ac:23: warning: macro 'AM_PATH_A8CAS' not found in library
configure.ac:17: warning: The macro `AC_HEADER_STDC' is obsolete.
configure.ac:17: You should run autoupdate.
./lib/autoconf/headers.m4:704: AC_HEADER_STDC is expanded from...
configure.ac:17: the top level
configure.ac:12: installing './compile'
configure.ac:9: installing './config.guess'
configure.ac:9: installing './config.sub'
configure.ac:5: installing './install-sh'
configure.ac:5: installing './missing'
src/Makefile.am: installing './depcomp'

./configure zwraca na końcu:

...
./configure: line 4505: syntax error near unexpected token `1.3.0,,'
./configure: line 4505: `AM_PATH_A8CAS(1.3.0,,)'

Ubuntu:

autoreconf -i zwraca:

configure.ac:23: warning: macro 'AM_PATH_A8CAS' not found in library
configure.ac:23: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PATH_A8CAS
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
autoreconf: /usr/bin/autoconf failed with exit status: 1

Po drugim wywołaniu już mówi tylko pierwszą linijkę (not found in library) i generuje resztę plików.

Po wywołaniu ./configure:

...
./configure: line 4196: syntax error near unexpected token `1.3.0,,'
./configure: line 4196: `AM_PATH_A8CAS(1.3.0,,)'

Biblioteki poinstalowane, liba8cas też skompilowana i zainstalowana.

Przeczytaj INSTALL rozdz. II.2.

Dzięki za odpowiedź, takie miałem podejrzenie, a teraz pewność :) próbowałem ten plik jakoś „unaocznić” autoconfowi, bez skutku, ale spróbuję jeszcze raz.

To chyba wystarczy w katalogu /usr/share/aclocal umieścić plik "dirlist" z odpowiednią zawartością - w INSTALL rozdz. II.2 jest odpowiedni link do dokumentacji Automake'a.
