I live in America and own a NTSC 130XE which of course does not like all the great software that you guys get to enjoy in Poland and the like.

Two pieces of software that are of the greatest interest to me are Black Magic Composer and Theta Music Composer, both of which seem to run O.K., but when I try to select DIR or DIRECTORY in either program, my Atari will lock up, though if I boot up an emulator and set it to the same system specs as my real Atari, but put it in PAL mode, I am able to go into DIR and DIRECTORY. Naturally I set to emulator to NTSC to see what it would do, and it locked up just like my real Atari.

So naturally I am going to purchase a PAL Atari or two, since I currently have no other way around this, and of course have many PAL games and demos I'd like to enjoy but can not.

In the mean time I would like to locate and contact the authors of these two programs, and see if their is something they might be able to do, in order to get these great pieces of software to work as they should on a NTSC Atari. Even though I am switching to PAL, I would like to see these programs adjusted in case other NTSC users would like to make use of the software.

Thankx!

EDIT: Sorry I just realized that Gry means Games, so I've posted this in the wrong section.

I'm using version 2 and have also tested version 1.

Thank you very much for the link!!!

EDIT: I downloaded Version 2 from the web page and it seems that I'm no longer having problems! Apparently my copy was corrupted somehow.

Also I believe the names of the guys behind Black Magic Composer are Sven Tegethoff and Thorsten Winkler if that sounds familiar to anyone.

Yeah but you'd better ask question(s) about them to someone related with ABBUC (ie. CharlieChaplin, Heaven, Bunsen etc.).

Hi!

Yes, you are right - the authors of Black Magic Composer are Sven Tegethoff and Thorsten Winkler. They are from Germany and they was members of Gnome Design... I don't know what they are doing nowadays. Maybe the people from Abbuc E.v. knows more about Sven and Thorsten. Here you have link to the Abbuc site: http://www.abbuc.de/index.php?newlang=english
