Hello!
In one of the Russian forums on retrocomputers, a discussion arose again about non-standard disk drives for Atari. Someone remembered the D.8002 HS drive which was made in 1990-91 in Dubna (Russia). The Atariki website has an article about it : http://atariki.krap.pl/index.php/D.8002_HS. Enthusiasts say that there is no problem to repeat the product, but there is no dump of the original firmware. I looked at several discussions on the site and saw that one copy of this device is clearly in the collection of one of the members of this forum. Maybe there is hope to get the firmware?

Best regards
Vladimir

Witam!!!

Pozdrawiam
Vladimir

I agree. But for now this is not finished. So I say that it for my personal collection. When this reconstruction was fully finished it possible to post it for everybody. No any problems if somebody have interest to build this memory upgrade. But there must be a full set of info, not partial - this is a historical thing.  I already sent Toriman my PCB reconstruction for checking. Hope that he can help.

He-he!
Seban! Have you read my first message? I say that I have all of this, what you post. Finding all of this is not a problem. But this is not enough. Using this PCB photos is not possible (as I think and try) to make full reconstruction - some connections is under "?"
If find megz-hz version of new PCB not "censored" - we win :-)
Anyway thank you for your investigation.

I have some messages on AA from Yurgen - AKA tf_hh  (partner of mega-hz). He say that "may be" some info he can find in his back-ups. But not fast and he recommend contact with somebody from ABBUC - ABBUC is the legal holder of all rights from the former Compy-Shop and anybody there has the schematics, etc...
This is a next step....
Anyway thank's for reply.

Best regards,
Vladimir

Sorry for English, but I can't write Polish. My native lang is Russian.

I want ask colleagues - may by somebody have some info, drawings, schematics for rare CompyShop 256K memory upgrade for 800XL?  I try to ask some persons on  AtariAge forum - no success... :-(
If you have schematics, PCB drawings or link to them, please send it me.
I attach photo of what I'm talking for.
All info from mega-hz web site I already have. But there are no schematics, PCB drawings and full manual (only partial)
I collect info for my personal collection of memory upgrades for small 8bit Atari.
If somebody have info for 192K, 320K and some others from CompyShop for different models of 8-bit Atari - let me know where to download this info or send me it.

Thanks in advance,
Vladimir

Sorry. I'm new here and can't write Polish.
How and with what programs I can read the content in this archive? On Atari or on PC.
I unpack archive with RAR.
I need a schema of original Microprint and I want to read a description (.DOC) file from archive.

Thank's in advance and sorry once again.
