I think that you should choose some postfix by Qmeg version you alter (4.04 PL or 4.04 Pajero etc.).
IMHO major numbering of Qmegs (3.xx,4.xx,...5.xx,6.xx,...) is preserved for original Qmegs from author Stefan Dorndorf.
I'm afraid of future confusions if everybody call own Qmeg modification with better number Qmeg5, Qmeg6, Qmeg7... :-(

* wrong stabilizer (check his 3.3V output)
* confused in and out signals
* missing/wrong command signal
* quartz with bad value (has to be 14.31818 MHz exactly)
* diode D7 (1N4148) reversed
* one of switches SW1,SW2,SW3,SW8 wrong (constantly turned on). Try to push left/right (SW2/SW3) and/or BOOT (SW1) if LEDs behave properly.

Potrzebny mi przyjazny, prosty, program do rysowania schematów.
Programy w rodzaju..EAGLE i inne nie interesują mnie. Paint też odpada z prostego powodu, rysując na planszy podstawowej nie ma siatki a precyzyjne ruchy myszki w/g współrzędnych podnoszą mi ciśnienie.
Chodzi mi o program podobny do Designer Mastera na Atari bez zbędnych fajerwerków.
Schemat mam rysować ja, a nie program.

Disaster is that people are squabble about results and some are saying
that "I will not to make any contribution in future because winning of crazy demos"
or "I will not going to the parties because winning of crazy demos"
or "I will not whatever because of results."
It's horrible statements and hurts me totally.
I have problem to understand why rank in results table is for some people
so much important.
We can create more categories like "music", "funny music", "intro", "joketro",
"demo", "crazy demo", "picture", "funny picture", "wild", "wild picture",
"wild music", "wild video", ...
But every time there will be menace that some people will be protest
due to placement of some contribution to some category or due to results.
("Is this wild contribution wild enough for wild category?" ;-))
("Is this crazy demo crazy enough...?" ;-))
Or we can omit competitions and voting totally.
We can show pictures only, play music, look on demos, look on anything
without rating/voting, if results are too irritant for people. ;-)
Or authors of contributions can consult voting results before announcement
and change it according to their opinions: "Your demo is better, I want you
to be on 1st place" , "No, I will not be on 1st place." , "Yes, I want you to be.",
"But people give more points to you!", "Yes, but I don't want to be on 1st place.",
"Ok, we concerned, on 1st place will be nobody. What about second place?...."
It's crazy... ;-)))

Hi everybody.
I was really shocked when moderator said "2nd place for RECALL BY RESURRECTION". This demo is beautiful and I had assumed it would win the demo compo for sure. But I was wrong, party audience voted for JzB. I never voted in any category (!) where I had some contribution. I wasn't affecting anyone to voting for JzB (even my friends didn't know about this JzB contribution by GPRS - I hid it totally) or for any of my other contributions. I'm not working on my Forever contributions (msx, gfx, intro1kb, demo) for fame or for sake of winning prices, but for people!
So, I can only say that I highly respect the Polish democoders and I was surprised that JzB gained victory over their great demo Recall by Resurrection. I hope they don't worry, they are happy and will create such great demos for people regardless of some voting results.
I dont have the right to judge people's voting. If somebody has such right, he/she can change results in "rightful way". Or, maybe it's precaution for future - more righful people have to visit parties and vote more properly.
Btw - I have prepared USB flash disk, Atari cup and Atari T-shirt for PG as thanksgiving for his JzB music. (btw - he also made music cover for Recall by resurrection demo.)

I'll give it a second try today :) What's "prove mode" ?
When "prove mode" is activated, RMT is playing sounds only and none note events are written to any track.
There are two "prove modes", "PROVE MODE 1" and "PROVE MODE 2 - STEREO".
These modes is possible to activate/deactivate by toolbar button with "crossed circle" symbol in mail toolbar. Big red title "PROVE MODE 1" or "2" is showed on screen under song name.
btw - Prove mode has the same fuction as "Shift+NoteKeys" or "Shift+Control+NoteKeys", but you don't need to hold down the Shift or Shift+Control when you want to play sounds only.
MIDI input should be working fine, I hope. I'm using it sometimes with my Yamaha synthesizer.
Note events are putting at cursor position, I haven't noticed any problem.
Don't you have activated "prove mode"? Or isn't cursor in column with some '--' track?

Na Allegro jest sporo małych telewizorków LCD (180-450 zł) z wejściem pal. Pytanie: jak by to działało z atarką? Domyślam się, że byłyby problemy z pikselozą, ale... kto wie? :-) Ktoś próbował?

But, I was testing it yesterday and I have some new findings.
Bass tones in Sv2k4inv song has this strange varations under PC RMT tracker and also under Atari800emu (with sound qualitiy set to level 1) only. On real Atari there isn't any problems and basses sounds constantly equally. Also in Atari800 emu with sound quality set to hi level 2 (new POKEY sound engine) it is all right.
So, I think it's a POKEY (1 ? old POKEY sound engine) emulation problem. :rolleyes:

łaśnie zapisuję zawsze #3 do $d20f przed każdym zapisem do rejestrów i takowych dystorsji nie mam. Gdy przestaję resetować liczniki, pojawiają się dystorsje.

BTW - I showed SIDplayer to a few C64 fans at Forever Hex demoparty, and they was amazed. One of them ask me, if it is Atari with build-in SID chip and he was surprised that Atari sw emulation of SID is possible with such cool result. :)

I have found some problems with new version 1.00 (strictly speaking between 0.93 beta and 0.97 beta, but it survive in 1.00 too):
Great SID modules THRUST.SID, ACESHIGH.SID and CHIMERA.SID was working under the 0.93 beta version, but since the 0.97 (also in 1.00) it crash. Please, can you discover what is a problem?

I think there will be:
1st scanline - 1st charset - 1st lines of chars of charset1
2nd scanline - 2nd charset - 2nd lines of chars of charset2
3rd scanline - 3rd charset - 3rd lines of chars of charset3
...
So, no first font chars' lines after change of chbase, but second, third ... because on each next gr.0 scanline antic will be using data from charset for relevant line (0-7). IMHO.

Spójrz na to w ten sposób: dostałem trackerek i patrzę jakie obsługuje formaty: jakiś swój kosmiczny, SAP i EXE.
By the way... RMT file format - it is some data in standard 8bit Atari binary file with standard 8bit Atari headers. (You could load it from Atari DOS ;-) ... But it doesn't contains player routine of course, it's data only).

Słyszałem, już zebrałem szczękę z ziemi i zobaczyłem że muszę duuużo nadgonić. ;) Muszę tylko sqmać, jak używa się sampli na Atarce, bo robiłem to tylko raz, a i to w sumie przypadkiem. ;)
Hmm... there is not possible to use samples in RMT. You have to use pure PM ("pokey modulated") intstruments only in RMT.
