Hello folks,
the ABBUC software contest 2004 is over, so here are the results:

7th place: Jelly Beans by Crhis Martin won 50 Euro

6th place: Atari Greed by Winfried Piegsda and Carsten Strotmann won 75 Euro

5th place: RMT-Player XL/XE by Raster / Radek Sterba won 150 Euro

4th place: Hardwaretester by Florian Dingler won 200 Euro

3rd place: MyPicoDOS by HIAS / Mathias Reichl won 275 Euro

2nd place: BOSS-X by Mirko Sobe won 350 Euro

1st place: Dynablaster by Tomasz Biela won 750 Euro

This year ABBUC payed off all prices/money (the winners will soon get the money). Besides, ABBUC does not have the copyrights for these programs now, so all authors are allowed to publish these programs freely now (since the contest is over). Of course there will be a new contest in 2005 so you have time until October 2005 to code a) a new game or b) an application / tool / utility that will work on a standard 64k or at least 128k Atari. The rules for the ABBUC software contest can be found at www.abbuc.de in english and german language (and hopefully soon in polish language also). Happy coding and my congrats to the winners of this year!! -Andreas Magenheimer.

P.S.: I am not responsible for the results, I only want to present them here (approx. 100 ABBUC members voted for the contest)...

Thanks. I hope, the rules will be in Polish too, because the contest is not very known in Poland. So, next year the frequence of Polish coder should be bigger? And we will show, who's the king!

Yeah,
a friend of mine has promised me to translate the (abbuc software contest) rules into polish language... alas, I cannot do it, because I do not speak / understand polish language...  when the translation is done, we will present the rules here.  greetings, Andreas Magenheimer.

Hi !
The rules for next year's ABBUC software contest are finished.
A text-file in RTF and MS-Word format is available.

Please contact me if you want to translate the text into polish.

The translated text should be in simple ASCII-format as I want to convert it later into "Ghost Editor" format ;-)

Greetings,
- Mr.Bacardi -
